Position Overview:
As a Care Assistant at Oceanrise Healthcare Agency Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with daily living activities while promoting their independence and well-being. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that each resident receives personalized care that meets their physical, emotional, and social needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to residents including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support residents with mobility and physical activities as required.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
  • Monitor residents’ health and report any changes or concerns to senior staff members.
  • Engage residents in social activities and encourage participation in community events.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any incidents or accidents promptly.
  • Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident while fostering a supportive environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • A caring nature with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A valid DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) will be required prior to employment.
